Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Form and execute a sales strategy to achieve sustainable, profitable revenue growth;
  • Identify, screen, pursue and track new sales opportunities while growing existing business;
  • Lead and manage price/share negotiations, pricing roadmaps and maintain favorable share position;
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities such as quotations, booking, shipments and inventory;
  • Provide periodic forecasts through forecasting system in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Establish and maintain all levels of relationships with customers to deliver OSM's value proposition and enhance OSM's position;
  • Willing to travel at least 30% of time both domestically and internationally.

Requirement:

  • Strong interpersonal, presenting and negotiating skills;
  • Sound written communications (emails, proposals, PowerPoint slides) and verbal communications skills (making presentations, conference calls);
  • Proven to be a self starter, team-player and result driven;
  • Solid analytical skills in deciphering marketing and finance data to effectively unlock customer's value and make data-driven sales proposals;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word and etc.;
  • Previous sales, technical marketing and/or product line management experience, preferably in Broadcast, Telecom, Datacom or optics industry;
  • General fiber optical component, module and system knowledge required.

Education:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent knowledge/experience in the field, MBA desirable;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience related to sales development and management with a history of success in a communications products.
